Kafren began in 2015 when our founder, Sarah, traveled to rural communities and witnessed the incredible craftsmanship of local artisans who struggled to find markets for their products.

Inspired by their skill and determination, Sarah founded Kafren with a mission to connect these talented artisans with global markets, ensuring fair wages and sustainable livelihoods while preserving traditional crafts.

Today, Kafren works with over 200 artisans across 15 communities, providing training, resources, and market access. Each product tells a story of cultural heritage and represents hope for a better future.
